We don't really know why, but French rappers still seem as fascinated by what is happening in the States : we dress like them, we even borrow slang from them, we try to draw inspiration from them in the attitude and in the way of making sound. While US rappers, for their part, despise us : the proof with the fight which broke out in recent days between Gazo's team and that of Offset. An Offset at rock bottom, dumped by Cardi B who cheated on him while she was pregnant, who worth almost nothing in terms of rap (Quavo was the only Migos to really stand out), but who still finds the way to disrespect Gazo, even going so far as to start a fightfor which we now know the “real” reasons.

A usual delay

It was initially believed thatOffset simply wanted to leave before the end of filming a Music videowhich we can understand at the limit: it is sometimes very long. But this is not the case: according to several sources, including rapper and influencer Noah Lunsi, it was an Offset delay that caused the tensions. In a video posted on the networks, Noah explains that the American would have arrived more than two hours latewhich would have encouraged Gazo's team to go to him demand accountability from his hotel, demanding that part of the money spent for the feat (150,000 euros according to some sources) be reimbursed.

Still according to Noah, it was Offset himself who allegedly started the physical stage of the altercationsdelivering the first blow himself. After that, on the other hand, everyone saw the images: the American rapper and his team had a good massage. Apparently, Gazo himself was not present on sitewhich protects him a little in the event of legal consequences of this affair, even if we doubt that Offset will go to the cops to file a complaint.

In any case, this altercation gives us one more reason to definitively stop featurings between French and American rappers. In addition to generally producing pretty average sounds (with a few exceptions), nothing justifies this kind of lack of respect.
