Natasha St-Pier parodied by Inès Reg: and now, she is asking for copyright from Pascal Obispo

She had promised that she would not mention her clash with Natasha St-Pier in her new show. But Inès Reg could not hold back. Six months after their participation in Dancing with the Stars, she decided to settle scores with her rival. It was during his show, “We are together”in mid-October 2024.

She made a parody of “You will find”. This is Natasha St-Pier's biggest hit, from 2002, of which she has just released a new version with Augustin Galiana. Inès Reg already slipped “little slut”and “handrail” in the lyrics. A remix that greatly amused Natasha St-Pier.

Natasha St-Pier talks about copyright

In an interview with Ciné Télé Revue, in Belgium, the redhead responded to this provocation this week. She assures regarding this sketch by Inès Reg, that she takes things philosophically. She indeed testifies: “In life, I always try to teach my son to see the bright side of things.”

And added: “It seems that parody means that we are successful, right?. Moreover, Natasha St-Pier enjoys the funny situation, pointing out: “It can be said that without realizing it, she pays homage to me.”

And for good reason, Inès Reg probably didn't know it, but by covering this song on stage, she will enrich Natasha St-Pier's camp.

The latter in fact recalls: “And then, I am delighted for Lionel Florence and Pascal Obispo, who wrote the song. Thanks to Inès’ show, they will receive handsome royalties.”

Not ready to meet Inès Reg again

In her responses today, Natasha St-Pier seems much less terrified of Inès Reg than at the start of the year. The 43-year-old singer is not not yet ready to meet her again anytime soon.

So, she confided to our colleagues that if she one day came across the comedian unexpectedly, she would be “still intimidated.” And to complete: “Oh my”When you come across someone with whom you have been in conflict, you are bound to be intimidated. I think I would feel bad and I wouldn’t say anything.”
