SM announces measures.
A few days ago, the agency officially announced that Seunghan was leaving RIIZE following controversies over his private life revealed last year, and the young man himself sent a letter to his fans.
Today SM Enertainment announces measures to protect both RIIZE and Seunghan members.
The press release concerning RIIZE:
“Hello, this is SM Entertainment.
We would like to inform you of the latest news regarding the legal proceedings initiated regarding the violation of the rights of our RIIZE artists (Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Sohee, Anton).
We have collected malicious messages and comments that include threats, defamation, and insults against RIIZE members through fan reports and our own monitoring. We are focused on filing lawsuits against individuals who continually spread false information on specific platforms.
In particular, we would like to inform you that some people who posed as acquaintances of RIIZE members on Instagram and wrote false information, as well as people whose illegal actions were confirmed, were identified and forwarded to the parquet. We are responding firmly in accordance with principles, and we will keep you informed of further developments in these matters.
Creating and spreading malicious rumors based on fabricated or unverified information, as well as generating malicious content by modifying or manipulating artists’ images, are clearly illegal acts. We will continue to take strong action against those who post malicious content targeting RIIZE on platforms such as Instagram, X (Twitter) and YouTube, both domestically and internationally. We reiterate that there will be no agreement or leniency for such illegal activities, so please be careful and do not involve yourself in unfortunate situations.
We sincerely thank all fans for their continued support and interest in RIIZE. We ask that you continue to actively report and share information to us if you discover illegal actions related to RIIZE.

Since its inception, we have continuously monitored malicious posts and comments that include false information, personal attacks, insults and slander against Seunghan. We have already collected a substantial amount of evidence and are proceeding with legal proceedings, including filing complaints against various illegal activities.
In particular, we would like to reiterate that impersonating acquaintances on social media to write false information that harms the reputation and image of the artist, as well as maliciously reproducing and indiscriminately disseminating such false information constitute clearly criminal acts.
We immediately take legal action as soon as illegal activities related to Seunghan are confirmed, and we will continue to respond firmly without agreement or leniency.
