RIIZE’s Seunghan wrote a letter to fans after his comeback announcement!
On October 11, SM Entertainment announced that Seunghan was making his return to RIIZE, almost a year after his hiatus due to controversy related to his personal life.

Seunghan then posted a handwritten letter on Weverse, which read:
“Hello, it’s Seunghan.
First of all, I would like to sincerely apologize to the members and fans. When the pre-debut photos were released, even though they were photos of me, I was deeply disappointed and regretful about myself. If even I felt that way, I can’t even imagine what the members and fans present next to me must have felt because of me.
You must have been angry, shocked and disappointed. I am truly sorry to all the fans who supported us from the very beginning, which was such a crucial time, and to those who were hurt by my immature actions. I am also sorry to the members with whom I should have worked hard to move forward together, which led to my sudden hiatus in my activities. I would like to apologize to everyone who had to endure and overcome this situation. I felt both sorry for the whole situation and desperate for not being able to be with everyone.
Because of this great disappointment, I continued to have more realistic thoughts such as: “Will I be able to perform on stage again?” Will I be able to continue making music? »
During this time, the members once again held my hand. This must have been a very difficult decision, and I am filled with nothing but gratitude and apologetic feelings that I was given another chance.
I know there is so much I have to show to the members who have taken my hand again, to the fans who fear that the achievements made in my absence will be tarnished because of me, and to the agency who made this difficult decision. Of course, I feel a burden and fear about this.
However, I am determined to work even harder and do better thanks to the confidence placed in me.
I will strive to be a good member who takes responsibility and does not tarnish the accomplishments of members. I want to become a necessary presence for RIIZE.
Once again, I would like to apologize to the members and staff of the agency who made this difficult decision and to the fans who must have been shocked. I will work more seriously and responsibly in the future. »
