From success with children to conquering the United States: discover the astonishing journey of Zaho de Sagazan

The French singer Zaho de Sagazan, revealed with her first album “La symphonie des éclairs”, returns with a new song entitled “Ô Travers”. A musical reflection on our little quirks and neuroses, which is in line with his dark and sensitive universe.

After the success of “The Symphony of Lightning”, especially among young children who love to sing his songs without necessarily understanding the words, Zaho de Sagazan continues to surprise. His new title, “Ô Travers”, presents itself as an ode to our little quirks and our little neuroses that we can all have.

An assumed hypersensitivity

The singer makes no secret of it: sadness is her “main trait”. Zaho de Sagazan readily admits that she is attracted to sadness, which she links to her hypersensitivity. She has always felt apart, different from others, a little torn and for her, this is a strength.

This hypersensitivity shines through in his songs, like “Tristesse”, a piece released a year ago.

New features await fans

The news doesn’t stop there for the 24-year-old artist. His first “La symphonie des éclairs” will be reissued on October 25, with seven previously unreleased bonus tracks. Pieces that Zaho de Sagazan has already performed on stage, during his tour which never seems to stop.

In two years, she has given nearly 200 concerts, toured more than 30 festivals this summer, and is preparing to cross the Atlantic to sing in the United States in December, with dates planned in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

A dazzling journey

At only 24 years old, Zaho de Sagazan is enjoying an impressive rise. From her humble beginnings, posting covers on Instagram, she has moved on to international tours, accompanied by an entire team. Today, there are 16 people who follow her in a tourbus for her tours.

Zaho de Sagazan is also an atypical family story. She grew up with her four sisters in a house that she herself describes as “weird”. Daughter of a teacher and author, and a father who is a visual artist and sculptor, she grew up surrounded by clay sculptures and hay bales.
