It was ten years ago and Roch Voisine can’t wait for it to happen again. In 2013, the first opus of “Forever Gentlemen“, a compilation of covers that was a hit in the stores. In it, the Canadian singer played crooner with great voices like Dany Brillant, Damien Sargue, Corneille and Vincent Niclo.
In 2014, given the success of the first opus, a second compilation was released. And this time, Roch Voisine also sang with women, like Claire Keim and especially Sofia Essaïdi. The latter, revealed by the Star Academy, preferred to become an actress, over the years. But Roch Voisine has not forgotten anything about their collaboration.

Also, this September 20, 2024, in an interview with RIFFX, the handsome guy ranks their duet in second place in his top 5 of his favorite songs. He comments: “I sing a song with Sofia Essaïdi, called Misty, which is a great classic of American music. Honestly, it’s really, really well done.”
And to add: “I loved it because it’s my parents’ music, it’s my grandparents’ music, it’s the music I grew up with.”.
A new tour soon?
And Roch Voisine liked the repertoire so much that he went on tour in Canada with two members of the Forever Gentlemen.
About this experience in 2019, he explains: “I participated in a wonderful project called Forever Gentlemen, here in France, and it worked very well here too. Me, Garou, Corneille, we put it on stage, and we will certainly do it again on stage in the coming years.“. We are looking forward to it!
