Flu. Saint-Nazaire hospital remains in “extreme vigilance”

Due to winter diseases, and mainly the flu, the Saint-Nazaire hospital sparked its white plan on January 7, confronted then with “An exceptional level of activity” and at “A tension on emergency and hospital services”. Since Monday, January 13, the health establishment, like others in the department, has regulated emergencies: night reception, between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m., is no longer freely possible. It must be noted beforehand on 15, the Samu number, or 116, 117.

What about the health situation today at the Saint-Nazaire hospital? Management indicates to Ouest- what “The flu is still circulating and if the tension is smaller, we remain in extreme vigilance because other acute episodes can occur.” The night emergency regulation system is established until February 24.
