I’m not saying it suits me better. In 3-4-3, that suits me too, but I can play a little higher in the first pattern. In No. 8, with Simon Poncelet at my side to ensure effective recovery.

Vacation, injury, B team matches: you played little at the end of the year, your last appearance dating from October 27. Did this period allow you to find freshness?

It actually feels good to take a breather. Now, we still had to find the rhythm and the good sensations. In this sense, winter preparation has given me a lot. I feel very good physically, better than in December for example.

These two matches played as team B, could they have done some good too, far from the pressure of team A?

No. I prefer to go to A. It’s not a punishment to go to B of course, I have no problem going there and it was agreed like that with the coach, when I returned from vacation, but I’m happy to have returned to the eleven of the A team.

Where you have to hang on to stay given the competition…

It’s true, but it’s normal at this level. And necessary if we want to stay at the top of the table.

Let’s talk about it. You have just joined Onhaye, your next opponent, in third place. Ambition increases over the weeks?

In my head, it has been clear for a long time, I want to reach the final round and this feeling also motivates my teammates. I also think that the whole club started to follow us and support us in this objective. Saturday’s match will inevitably be important in this context.
