A serious collision that occurred in the Saint-Hubert area on Monday around 7:40 p.m. left three people injured, one of them being in critical condition at the end of the evening.
“The car hit a stationary vehicle on Montée Saint-Hubert. The injured were taken to a hospital center,” summarized the Journal the spokesperson for the Longueuil Police Department, François Boucher.
According to initial findings, four people “in their late twenties” were in the vehicle, but only the three passengers were taken to hospital by ambulance.
One of them was still in critical condition at the end of the evening.

The portion of Montée Saint-Hubert, between Normand and Grenier avenues, was closed to traffic to allow investigators to collect evidence and meet witnesses. Traffic was restored late Monday.
The causes of the collision were not yet known at the time of publication.
“The investigation is underway to shed light on the circumstances of this accident,” continued Mr. Boucher.
