Santa will have fully succeeded in his solo debut. Led by the huge hit “Salted Popcorn”, listened to more than 100 million times on streaming platforms, his album “Recommence-moi” is one of the 20 biggest hits of 2024. The record sold more than 110,000 copies, boosted by the title track “Recommence-moi”, which became the anthem of the “Star Academy”. “ I have always been very free. The only thing that changes is French. These are songs that resemble me even more… They are without a gram of dust, there is no filter between what I sing and what I am. Neither the language, nor the group… There is no conquest of the world, there is just the conquest of my world » attests, in an interview for Purecharts, the one who put the career of her group Hyphen Hyphen on hold.

“On my piano everything sounds true”

To start the year on a musical note, Santa is banking on a new single. And after the rhythmic “Recommend-moi”, the musician slows down the tempo with “La difference”. On this very piano ballad Véronique Sanson at heart, Santa encourages his audience to be themselves without wearing masks. “ And on my piano, everything rings true / I prefer your too much to not enough » she proclaims. A sort of leitmotif for the whole album: “ In any case, when it sounds out of tune, harmonically you can hear it, but when someone sounds out of tune… I don’t like the appearance of the interpretation. I have the impression that we differentiate when we don’t write our songs but we perform them. And I tell them! It’s a slight difference but it defines me very well ».

The public will also be surprised to discover a new version of “The Difference”, more muscular and specially revealed for the occasion. “ I recorded it in my bedroom the day before I had to return the album. So much so that I was in a state of emergency that some details were missing. She lacked perfection. There, that’s it, I found the rest. I think it will get along » she explained on the set of “Quotidien”.

This single therefore introduces a very busy new year for Santa. The singer from will launch her major Zenith tour in June, which will stop in on June 11 and December 17. Faced with the enthusiasm, the artist has just announced his very first Accor Arena: the appointment is set for Thursday April 2, 2026. Places are already available, with prices ranging between 39 and 80 euros. And those who have seen him know very well, Santa is a real stage beast!
