“I thought it was going to be a muse of the suburbs”, Booba explains why he doesn’t like Mbappé

After criticizing Kylian Mbappé on several occasions in recent months, rapper Booba explained this Sunday the reasons for his disenchantment with the Real Madrid star.

Booba doesn't like Kylian Mbappé and criticizes him regularly. Guest of the CKO podcast this Sunday, the famous rapper returned to the reasons which push him not to appreciate the Real Madrid striker, who has never responded to the artist's invectives.

“I thought he was going to be a muse of the suburbs and that he was going to represent his African, Cameroonian and Algerian roots,” returned Booba, explaining his rejection of the man who grew up in , in Seine-Saint-Denis in 93. “I had too many expectations. In the end, nothing at all, he didn't even go to Algeria. That's why I don't like him, all simply.”

“He didn’t even tweet when Algeria won the CAN”

Born in , Mbappé has Cameroonian origins through his father and Algerian origins through his mother. “I consider it unacceptable, it’s as if I didn’t represent Senegal,” added Booba, then relaunched on Mbappé’s visit to Cameroon in July 2023. “How old was he in Cameroon? I was 10 years old when I went to Gorée (in Senegal, Editor's note). He went to Cameroon being super rich, with cameras.”

Booba also criticizes Kylian Mbappé for not having “tweeted when Algeria won the African Cup of Nations” in 2019. “He doesn’t represent anything at all, he’s uninteresting. I don’t like his personality, That’s my opinion as a bar guy,” concluded “B20.”

In recent days, Booba revealed a short extract from one of his next titles, starting with a dig at Mbappé: “You don't have the license like Kyky de Bondy”. In the meantime, the person concerned is smiling again on the pitch, with a goal and an assist this Sunday against Sevilla FC (4-2) in La Liga, confirming his renewed form.
