Friday, September 13, Johnny Hallyday and Sylvie Vartan’s granddaughter Emma Smet celebrated her 27th birthday. For the occasion, the young woman received many messages of love.
“We are proud of you.” On the occasion of her granddaughter’s 27th birthday, Sylvie Vartan took to her Instagram account to publish a lovely message to her “beautiful and sweet Emma.” In a mixture of French and English, Johnny Hallyday’s ex-wife wrote: “May love, luck and light always illuminate your life! Happy birthday my darling. We are proud of you. Have a wonderful evening. Love and kisses from all of us.”
This tender message, published on Friday evening, September 13, is accompanied by a photo of Emma Smet as a child with Sylvie Vartan, in which the two women are tenderly hugging. Two photos follow that show how much the pretty blonde has grown up. In the comments, her father, David Hallyday, and her sister, Ilona Smet, responded with hearts.

Many messages of love
For this very special day, Emma Smet received messages of love from many of her loved ones. David Hallyday wrote to her in Story: “How lucky to have you in our lives”. Her half-brother Cameron Smet shared photos of their childhood, including a shot where we see his big sister giving him a bottle. Her mother, Estelle Lefébure, also opted for a photo of Emma very young and wrote “Happy birthday my heart”.

Emma Smet was born in 1997 from the union of Estelle Lefébure and David Hallyday. Her older sister, Ilona, married and mother of a little Harrison, was born two years earlier. The son of Johnny Hallyday and Sylvie Vartan separated from the model in 2001 before marrying, three years later, Alexandra Pastor. From their union Cameron was born, in October 2004, their only son.

In an interview with Paris Match, the 58-year-old musician shared that his three children were his pride and joy: “When I had my children, I said to myself: ‘How am I going to do it? I’m a kid myself!’ Today, I am a father, a big brother and a friend to my three children. I want to be the one who reassures them, but also the one who messes around with them. I am proud of them: my daughters and my son have incredible values and principles,” he said.
