« L’HIPPOPOTAMUS» is closed until further notice.
The decision was taken by the Aube prefecture following an inspection carried out on November 21, by the departmental directorate of employment, work, solidarity and protection of the populations of Aube ( DDETSPP), as part of an investigation into collective food poisoning.
This investigation revealed numerous serious breaches of hygiene rules within this business located at 11 Rue des Bas Trevois, in Troyes.
And the list is long, dirty equipment and materials, lack of maintenance, presence of numerous expired preparations, presence of large quantities of midges.
The closure measure will be lifted as soon as the establishment meets current standards, after a new inspection.
