To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Slipknot’s self-titled debut album, founding member M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan has shared a series of poignant photographs.

Each photo, posted to social media, features one of the band’s original members: Paul Gray, Joey Jordison, Mick Thomson, Craig Jones, Chris Fehn, Corey Taylor, Jim Root, Sid Wilson and Crahan himself. The collection concludes with the iconic full-band photo featured on the album cover, a powerful reminder of Slipknot’s enduring legacy.

Crahan turned off comments on all the photos except one, on which he simply wrote “Thank you.”

This was a pivotal year for Slipknot, not only to look back on its history, but also to embrace the future. The band publicly welcomed new drummer Eloy Casagrande, marking a new chapter while paying homage to its roots.

The anniversary photos pay tribute to the original lineup, particularly the late Paul Gray and Joey Jordison. Fans expressed a mix of emotions, from nostalgia and joy to mourning the loss of these essential members. The decision to leave the group photo open for comments allowed fans to share their gratitude and memories, illustrating the profound impact Slipknot had on its community.
