The incident began with the musical choice of Rick Ross’ DJ who played the song “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar at the end of the set. This song, known as a diss track towards Drake, apparently angered the Canadian rapper’s fans.
The situation quickly degenerated into a physical confrontation between the two groups of individuals. Videos are circulating on the networks and show shoving as well as heated verbal exchanges between the different protagonists. Drake, present on site, reacted to the incident by “liking” a publication on social networks reporting the altercation. Neither Rick Ross nor Drizzy’s team have officially commented on the incident at this time.
