After being absent yesterday from the PAF due to health problems, Pascale de la Tour du Pin was back this Thursday, June 6, 2024. At the start of the program, the presenter explained the reasons for her sudden absence.

On June 5, 2024, viewers of PAF on C8 were surprised by the absence of Pascale de La Tour du Pin, used to hosting this show broadcast in the early evening before Do not touch My TV. Since his departure from BFMTV to join Cyril Hanouna’s team almost a year ago, Pascale established herself as a central figure in the show, participating regularly as a columnist and having been chosen as Cyril Hanouna’s joker. Wednesday evening, as the show was about to begin, it was Valérie Bénaïm who appeared on screen to take the reins of PAF. From the start of the show, Valérie explained the reasons for this unexpected change: “I have a big thought for Pascale because she had a very small health problem just now, ten minutes ago. Don’t worry, the doctor is with her, everything is fine, but we He asked me to take over at short notice, so I’m here at short notice and I’m taking over.”

An allergy involved?

While Valérie Bénaïm, emblematic columnist of Do not touch My TVimmediately took over, she still reassured the public. “I kiss Pascale who is obviously coming back tomorrow,” she said. Thing promised, thing due: the host of the PAF was indeed back on the set of PAF this Thursday June 6, 2024. In broadcast flow, she appeared with glasses on her nose. She was quick to tell what happened to her.

“An hour before air, I was recording the summer shows right here in this studio. And then for some reason completely unknown to me, I started to have a sore throat and to double in volume”, she explains, miming the swelling of her head. An allergy probably which would have caused angioedema, but she does not know the cause. On site, the firefighters did not take the risk and urgently hospitalized him. “I looked like elephant man in a few seconds, you know what that means”, she confided, laughing. But it could have been worse, since, as she reveals, she couldn’t breathe.

“They gave me no choice”

When the firefighters arrived on site, Pascale de la Tour du Pin, who was to lead the PAF didn’t have a say. “They gave me no choice so I quickly went back to the emergency room. I spent my evening there, it was very nice.” If she wears glasses today, she says, it’s because “It’s not quite back to normal.” She concluded by warmly thanking the viewers for their messages and Valérie Bénaïm for being on the air!
