The singer-songwriter wrote on social media that her voice is “not recovering” and needs time to heal.

She was scheduled to begin the Canadian leg of the “Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th Anniversary” tour, which celebrates her third studio album.

Thirteen shows were planned, beginning Thursday in Rama, Ontario, and ending November 20, in Victoria.

A stop was also planned at the Videotron Center in Quebec City on November 7.

McLachlan said previously purchased tickets will be honored on the new tour dates. Anyone wishing a refund should contact the point of purchase.

McLachlan announced Saturday that she was suffering from laryngitis as she canceled shows in New Hampshire, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
