Called “Disease”, the song is expected this Friday, October 25. An announcement made by her record company Universal Music which has put online a site specially dedicated to the pre-order of this new title, confirming the release of the latter, carefully teased by the artist herself.
The name of the title revealed in a treasure hunt
A little before Universal’s official announcement, Lady Gaga had in fact revealed the name of this future single in the form of a treasure hunt by sharing on streaming platforms a playlist specially concocted by the artist. 38 years old.
In this playlist, the star had proposed a selection of seven titles – dANCE IN THE DARK, i LIKE IT ROUGH, sINNER’S PRAYER, eNIGMA, aRTPOP, sMILE, eLECTRIC CHAPEL – of which each first letter written in lowercase forms the term “Disease” name of this new single.
The piece is expected almost a month to the day after the release, on September 27, of the album “Harlequin” and its thirteen tracks, unveiled in parallel with the arrival on screens of “Joker: Folie à deux” by Todd Philipps, in which Lady Gaga plays Harley Quinn alongside Joaquin Phoenix.
