Rim’k talks about his duo with Ademo from PNL

This feat remained in the shadows for a long time.

Rim’K, rap veteran, and Ademo, member of the famous PNL duo, have already collaborated! This feat, which has long remained in the shadows, testifies to the evolution of unexpected connections that can form between artists of different generations…

Rim’K, a key figure in French rap since the 2000s, founding member of group 113 and the Mafia K’1 Fry collectivemarked the history of the genre with albums like “The Princes of the City”. His equally prolific solo career has seen him collaborate with numerous artists.

An unexpected meeting occurred between Rim’K and Ademo, long before the latter experienced phenomenal success with PNL. Rim’K says in Naskid’s show on Youtube: “He came to make me listen to his productions and pieces. I thought he was doing well and I gave him a chorus. But that’s the spirit of the neighborhood, it’s sharing.”

This collaboration came to fruition in 2008 with the song “Bienvenue”, taken from Ademo’s first mixtape entitled “Le son des Halls”.
At the time, Ademo was an emerging artist, far from the iconic status he would acquire with PNL. Rim’K, already established in the industry, did not hesitate to share his experience and his studio with the young rapper.
