This Saturday, May 4, after more than two years of relationship, the singer Renaud married his partner Christine, also called Cerise, at the town hall of the 14th arrondissement of Paris. A happy event attended by many public figures and friends of the artist. Among them, we found in particular Vianney, Hugues Aufray, Dave, Bénabar, Jean-Paul Rouve, Philippe Lellouche and even Dave, who celebrated his 80th birthday on the day of the wedding. And the least we can say is that the latter seemed particularly admiring during the ceremony. As evidenced by his revelations during an interview given to Parisian, published this Thursday, May 9. During the exchange, the Dutch singer revealed that he was surprised by the young groom’s excellent shape.
“He’s strong, Renaud! With all the Ricard and cigarettes he’s had, his analyzes are perfect”, assured Dave. In addition to Renaud’s good health, Dave was also amazed by the wedding ceremony, and more specifically by the people who were present. “At the town hall, there were so many fans that I had the impression of attending the wedding of Johnny and Sylvie”, he admitted during the exchange with our colleagues. And to conclude: “I preferred the ceremony in the small temple, boulevard Arago, it was pretty. It was the first time I had gone to France, whereas I went there every Sunday in the Netherlands with my Protestant brother.”

If Dave is admiring Renaud’s physical form, he is also admiring the appearance of his friend Hugues Aufray, who will celebrate his 95th birthday next August. Questioned by our colleagues from Parisianthe Dutch singer has in fact revealed that the interpreter of Santiano was his physical model. “I was invited to his wedding and he is younger than me”, said Dave. As a reminder, Hugues Aufray got married in September 2023 to Murielle, his junior, forty-five years old. Dave also likes to take an example from Henri Salvador, who “returned to success” at the age of 84, so he declared: “In four years, I’m going to do this!”
