Ophélie (Married at First Sight) deplores the evolution of her relationship with Loïc (SPOILER)

Season 8 of Married at first sight has been in full swing for several weeks on M6. Only two couples have not yet united in Gibraltar and we still do not know who will say the famous “no” long awaited for this edition. For some, the adventure is already well accomplished. Tracy and Flo came together to share a few days of their daily life. The couple seems to be on the right track, unlike Alice and Florian, whose honeymoon ended with a quarrel over broken dough. On the side of Ophélie and Loïc, incomprehension has long been the order of the day. The young man had also called on Gilbert Bou Jaoudé to help him communicate with his new wife.

The reunion of Ophélie and Loïc (Married at first sight) are not going as planned

After a lull, upon their return to France, the two newlyweds fell back into their ways, as shown in episode 9 of Married at first sight already available on 6play. “We gave each other news for maybe two weeks,” observed Ophélie with bitterness upon finding her husband in Charente-Maritime. “We talked a little the next day, it was me who asked you how you were coping with your return to reality”, Loïc retorted. But Ophélie then noticed that their exchanges quickly ended. “You asked me zero questions“, she remarked. “I sent certain messages where I got very closed feedback, so I told myself clearly, he doesn’t care. I don’t see why I will continue to try to make him talk, to ask him questions when he is not interested in me“, Ophélie said in despair.

Reproaches fly between the two newlyweds

And incomprehension is visibly common among the couple. Loïc continued the discussion by pointing out that he had sent a photo to Ophélie. But obviously, his wife’s reaction was not the right one in his eyes. “I take a step, I send you a photo, I show you that I’m thinking of you“, he clarified. “We didn’t see things at all the same”, his wife retorted. For the young bride, her companion should have taken the opportunity to establish a dialogue. “It leaves you with lots of open doors, lots of topics of conversation,” she explained. “I didn’t see it like that”, noted the young man. He summed up the situation in his own way. “In fact, Ophélie and I blame each other for exactly the same thing. There were misunderstandings which meant that I immediately said to myself: ‘actually, she doesn’t care’. While not at all, for her it was normal and for me it didn’t seem normal. (…) As a result, we both closed off, we communicated but without understanding each other”, he concluded. It remains to be seen whether they will be able to reestablish dialogue again.
