Indeed, this May 4, 2024, the artist married Cerise, with whom he has been in a relationship for 2 years. A ceremony which took place in the town hall of the 14th arrondissement of Paris and where several members of the lovers’ family and friends were present. Under big smiles and applause, one person was missing in the assembly, the singer’s daughter, the author Lolita. A relative of Renaud puts forward a hypothesis about this absence.

After this marriage between Renaud and Cerise, one person was noticed by his absence. Indeed, the artist’s daughter, Lolita, was not at her father’s side to celebrate this union. An impediment ? This Wednesday, May 8, 2024, in Paris Match magazine, a friend of Renaud spoke on this subject. According to him : “The absence of Lolita is a stone in the shoe of her story with Cerise. But she did attend her last concert at the Salle Pleyel, on December 21.”. He later adds: “All this is complicated for her, she is the same age as her father’s new wife…”. So is it a problem between the bride and her husband’s daughter ? No confirmation has been made.

Renaud’s daughter speaks and explains herself
Obviously, remarks continued to be published on the Internet. A fact which greatly annoyed the person concerned. To silence these remarks, Lolita spoke out on social networks. She defends herself by saying:You can refrain from commenting on my father’s marriage here”.
Some time later, she clarified: “I’m not defending anything. I didn’t react to negative or positive comments about marriage. That does not concern me. I was just saying leave me alone, in life and here, on my personal page. […] We are two individualized people, if one gets married the other can have nothing to do with it…”. Finally, she adds: “And in this case, don’t participate.”. Is it that tensions will ease between Renaud, his daughter and Cerise?
