SM Reveals Future Artist Plans for 2024!
The agency regularly reveals its artists’ plans over several months. Today, SM artists’ 2nd and 3rd quarter 2024 plans were revealed.
For the second quarter already started:
On the girlgroup side,
aespa will make its comeback in May with its first full album entitled “Armageddon”, an opus for which teasers have recently begun.
Red Velvet will make their full comeback with the release of a brand new mini-album, certainly in June.
On the boygroup side,
RIIZE will make his comeback with his very first mini-album entitled “RIIZING” in June.
SUPER JUNIOR will also be back with a brand new unreleased single around June.
WayV will offer us a mini-album, normally scheduled for June.
NCT DREAM and NCT WISH will each release a Japanese single before the end of the second quarter.
As for the solos,
Suho (EXO) will unveil his third mini-album “1 to 3” during the month of June.
Mark (NCT) will also release a solo single, although no date has been announced.
For the third quarter (July, August, September):
On the girlgroup side,
aespa will release a Japanese single, and will apparently be the only SM girlgroup to release a new release during the third quarter.
On the boygroup side,
NCT 127 will release a full album in the third quarter, although the date is still unknown.
NCT DREAM will unveil an English single.
NCT WISH will release a mini album and a monkey over this three month period.
WayV will offer a Japanese mini-album to its fans.
RIIZE will in turn unveil a Japanese single.
As for the solos,
Taeyeon (SNSD) will first release a new full album, before later releasing another single.
Hyoyeon (SNSD) will also return to action with the release of a solo single.
Irene (Red Velvet) will make her solo debut with the release of her first mini-album.
Key (SHINee) will first unveil a Korean mini-album, before then releasing a Japanese single.
Chaenyeol (EXO) will make his comeback with the release of a mini-album.
Jaehyun (NCT) will also offer us a solo mini-album during this quarter.
And finally, naevis will make his big debut as an artist.
