Watch Kerry King’s new band perform their first concert!

In a historic moment for metal fans, Kerry King, known for his iconic role in Slayer, performed his first concert with his solo project’s band on May 7 at Reggies in Chicago, Illinois. The veteran Thrash Metal guitarist, accompanied by a formidable lineup of industry heavyweights, including Mark Osegueda of Death Angel on vocals, Phil Demmel of Vio-lence and ex-Machine Head on guitars, Kyle Sanders of Hellyeah on lead bass, and Paul Bostaph, formerly of Slayer, on drums, electrified the audience with a mix of timeless classics and tantalizing previews of his upcoming album, From Hell I Rise.

The concert marked a milestone for King’s solo project, featuring a dynamic mix of Slayer covers and original tracks from the upcoming album. Highlights include fervent renditions of Slayer classics like Repentless, Hate Worldwide and Raining Blood, as well as live premieres of new compositions such as Where I Reign and Toxic. The performance recaptured King’s signature ferocity and showcased the collaborative synergy of his new teammates.
