Currently recovering, Kendji Girac sees several events canceled… Mr. Pokora’s wife has taken over!
It’s been a few weeks now since Kendji Girac was injured by a gun. When the singer was taken to the emergency room, his life prognosis was in jeopardy. The day after his arrival at the hospital, doctors reassured his loved ones and fans by announcing that his life was out of danger. Once the investigators had the green light from the medical profession, they were able to question Kendji Girac whose version given to this accident was not very convincing. It was then that the young father admitted to wanting to fake a suicide to scare his wife who was threatening to leave him.
His wife is very angry
“No way was it my wife who shot me. When I saw that she was going to leave, I was scared. (…) I aimed the barrel at my chest (…) I wanted to make Soraya hear the sound of the trigger, I wanted her to tell me to stop”, he told investigators. A gesture which deeply shocked the singer’s wife who decided not to visit him in the hospital and to return home to Switzerland. “She couldn’t stand his action. She finds him irresponsible, endangering their daughter’s life. I don’t think she wants to have an explanation with him at the moment.”reported Paris Match.

On May 19, he was to go to the “Global Gift Foundation” charity gala evening in Cannes, like every year, to sing with Eva Longoria. This year, he is not able to be present. “We wish a speedy recovery to our dear Kendji.
