On Tuesday April 30, in the episode of “Koh-Lanta: The Immunity Hunters”, pairs were formed by drawing lots in linked destinies.
Sébastien and Aurélien were eliminated following a council where the former Reds mainly voted against them, despite an attempt to destabilize by revealing Meïssa’s betrayal.
Denis Brogniart and the eliminated candidates express their incomprehension regarding the voting strategies, highlighting a lack of consistency and communication between the adventurers.
The linked destinies have caused the fall of two adventurers of Koh-Lanta: The Immunity Hunters. On Tuesday April 30, the adventure game was turned upside down by the formation of pairs by drawing lots. David and Léa, Jean and Mégane, Amri and Julie, Pauline and Meïssa as well as Sébastien and Aurélien thus found themselves allies.
A draw which was unfavorable to the former yellows. Sébastien and Aurélien quickly became targets of the former Reds. And if Meïssa’s betrayal could have changed the situation, the council finally got the better of Sébastien and Aurélien. The carpenter actually received six votes. On the other hand, Meïssa received three votes and Pauline two votes.
Denis Brogniart does not understand the votes of adventurers
The day after the elimination of Sébastien and Aurélien, Denis Brogniart decided to speak with them in his traditional live on Instagram. Faced with the emblematic host, Aurélien expressed his dismay following the votes of the former reds: “David votes for the pair, but votes for Pauline”.
An opinion also shared by Denis Brogniart, who did not really understand the attitude of the adventurers. If he rarely criticizes candidate strategiesthis time he declared: “There are years when people vote intelligently at all levels. There, at one point, there are votes that I don’t understand. At some point, if you really want to have an impact, you can’t say, I vote for x and you vote for y, because these are votes that cancel each other out. In any case, where we can imagine two voices, it becomes only one”.
Sébastien and Aurélien had hope of being able to save themselves
By exposing Meïssa’s betrayal, Sébastien and Aurélien had hope of being able to save themselves. Today the carpenter regrets a lack of communication with the old reds. “We thought they were going to vote for Meïssa since he had betrayed them, but they voted for Pauline… I don’t understand why” confided the eliminated candidate to TV Star.
Finally, Sébastien especially regrets Amri’s attitudewhom he considered his friend in Koh Lanta. He explained about this: “With him and Aurélien, we pulled each other up throughout the adventure and at the first gust of wind, he forgot us. He turned his back on us. I was very disappointed. I considered him a brother in arms and that was not the case”. Strategy therefore seems to take a more important place than past alliances since reunification.
