Marie and Jérémy said “yes” in the show Married at First Sight and the young barmaid revealed the first impression she had when seeing her husband for the first time.
Marie embarked on the adventure Married at first sight. The young 34-year-old barmaid therefore flew to Gibraltar to marry a complete stranger, while still having some doubts. But once her fears were overcome, the candidate for the show broadcast every Monday evening on M6, had a pleasant surprise by meeting Jérémy. Very quickly, the current passed between the lovebirdswho said to themselves “Yes” in front of their loved ones, including Thibault, a friend of her new husband, whom she already knew.

But what did Marie think of Jérémy when she saw him? In the magazine TV Staravailable on newsstands since April 29, 2024, she replied: “I first saw him from behind, I scanned him in two seconds. Then I saw his eyes, and there was something kind and reassuring and gentle and cool about him. I didn’t feel any awkwardness between him and me. And I found it incredibly beautiful. It was like a dream…” Marie was therefore not disappointed and validated the choice made by the program experts, Estelle Dossin and Gilbert Bou Jaoudé.
“A guy who ticks all the boxes, that exists!” enthuses Marie
She added: “With Jérémy, it’s as if we’ve known each other for years. I started the sentences, he finished them. We look a lot alike. He showed me that a guy who ticks all the boxes exists!” Regarding what could have been prohibitive for her, she declared: “Whether he has aggressive gestures, whether he’s the ‘bad guy’ or whether he’s doing too much. Jérémy was, on the contrary, in the measure and he was very gentlemanly.” Fortunately, the latter came out well! It remains to be seen whether their romance is still relevant since filming.
