Guidélois Noah Gaillard looks back on his The Voice adventure: “I showed that I had my place”
Descriptive text here

Noah, on Saturday you were eliminated from the show The Voice after your “Cross Battles” against Clément . How did you experience this moment?

During these “Cross Battles”, I changed register for something a little more rock. It felt good to show something else. That’s it, I left but I had a talent in front of me who gave a truly brilliant performance. So I have no regrets. I’m happy to have shown that side. Glad to leave on a good note.

What can you tell us about the coaches’ feedback?

The feedback was rather positive. Vianney told me that it was my best performance. They told me that I had progressed well and that they were happy with what I had done. Besides, I congratulate Clément because he impressed me with his performance. I was amazed by his progress.

Did you feel a bit of disappointment when you discovered the public’s choice?

Ah yes of course ! In fact, when you enter The Voice, you always want more. As soon as you reach a stage, you tell yourself that it would be cool to go further. But the hardest part is leaving friends. It’s really a very, very difficult time. You find yourself on the train, all alone… It’s very hard.

What do you remember from this adventure?

I just made my dream come true. That’s mostly it! I think little Noah would be proud. Looking back, I didn’t think I was capable of doing that until then. I just hope that people take away something good from me, and that they will be interested when I release my songs (laughs).

Has this adventure made you progress?

Thanks to The Voice, I know that I can be a performer while keeping that rock aspect. And above all to show that I had my place. That’s super important to me… Legitimacy is the best thing. It allowed me to work on my “ego”, I don’t have to be ashamed.

And now, how do you see the future?

In the short term first, it’s having my year. Then, in the medium term, if I manage to have my year, I will take a break to make music. And then in the long term, to make a living from my music. That would be extraordinary! But at least I would have something with my license to bounce back from if things don’t work out.

During a previous interview, you mentioned the upcoming release of a song. Is this project still in the works?

Yes always ! It should be released soon. I hope in the next two, three weeks.
