BBGIRLS leave their agency after a year to establish their own agency; Yujeong leaves the group – K-GEN

Lots of changes at BBGIRLS today.

Formerly known as Brave Girls, the female quartet renamed themselves BBGIRLS upon signing with Warner Music Korea in 2023.

After only one year in the agency, however, the girls left the company to found their own agency and pursue their own activities. However, this will be done without Yujeong, who has decided to leave the group.

The BBGIRLS have made it official:

” Good morning. It’s BBGIRLS.

BBGIRLS has mutually agreed with Warner Music Korea to terminate our exclusivity contracts upon expiration of the contract term. We would like to thank Warner Music Korea for their support in BBGIRLS activities so far. BBGIRLS is planning to start a new journey within the BBGIRLS company.

We would also like to inform you of some sad news. After extensive discussion, it was decided that Yujeong would end her activities as a member of BBGIRLS. The members also decided to respect Yujeong’s opinion. We sincerely thank Yujeong for doing her best as a member of BBGIRLS for a long time, and we will continue to support her in the future.

BBGIRLS plans to continue as a three-member group with Minyoung, Eunji, and Yuna in the future. We would like to express our gratitude to the BBee, who always send us so much love, and we ask for your warm support and interest in BBGIRLS which is making a new start.

THANKS. »
