We were impatiently awaiting the new episode of “Married at First Sight” broadcast last night on M6 but, as Ophélie has said enough about her new husband, we are a little disappointed too.

The suspense was unbearable. Throughout the week*, we wondered how Marie knew the handsome Thibault, her new husband’s best man. With a lot of moving music, dramatic effects and teasers, the production made us believe that a tragedy was brewing and that their relationship was in danger.
Nay! After adding another layer to this untenable expectation, “it was one of the only reasons why I would have said no… that it was a friend’s ex”, Jérémy had even slipped in, the big revelation was therefore greatly revealed . Marie and Thibault would have crossed paths a few times, a long time ago. All this fuss for a little sequence of a few seconds that falls flat? Mourf, that’s all I’ll say to express my annoyance.
“I’m running away from his gaze… I don’t know what to say”
The real drama came from the couple formed by Ophélie and Loïc. The newlyweds, 26 and 28, seem to be having trouble connecting and talking to each other.
We therefore witness scenes of silence, mainly on the part of Loïc who encounters a big problem expressing himself in front of the beautiful Ophélie, too intimidated to take the lead. It was thus half dismayed that we heard, during a painful conversation, Ophélie ask Loïc if he liked… candles. “I ask him frankly stupid questions,” admits the young woman who struggles to see their compatibility.
“There is no seduction, it’s flat, nothing happens (…). There is a part of me that is a little disappointed…”, she continues while the duo is on their honeymoon in Portugal. And when she tries to confront him to understand him, Loïc shuts up like an oyster and protects himself with silence. “I feel like I’m living a nightmare. I am stunned, I avoid his gaze… I don’t know what to say,” he confides in front of the cameras.
“I know I’m very difficult”
As we needed a “clean” cliffhanger to keep us addicted and make us want to come back next week, we were able to meet two new suitors for marriage: Camille and Romain.
He wants a passionate relationship, she is frank and without filter… their meeting is likely to spark. “I know that I am very difficult” confided the young mother who was deceived by the father of her little girl.
Apparently, the experience will prove to be an obstacle course for her, the production announced. Called urgently, the expert Gilbert Bou Jaoudé went to Romain to show him a strange video in which Camille is likely to make thunderous revelations (or not…).
Video that we obviously did not see, just as we did not see the materialization of the marriage of Ludivine and Raphaël either.
We will therefore wait until next Monday to find out the rest of their adventures.
