let’s remember that If we still loved each other is a parallel show to If we loved each other: in the first, we follow couples who want to improve their relationship while the second, whose recent season ended last December, follows people who are trying to form couples.

The first season of this spin off was so popular that a second season will arrive on television, to the delight of viewers.

The show will begin on April 29, and while we are currently exactly one week away from the premiere, TVA is revealing the identities of the four couples who will open the doors to their intimacy, in complete vulnerability, in front of all of Quebec, in order to give a second wind to their romantic relationship.

Here are the couples from the 2nd season of If we still loved each other:

Christelle and Gino (39 and 47 years old / In a relationship for 4 years)

For almost a year, Gino has been helping Christelle recover from depression. Christelle works to manage her emotions and impulsivity more healthily and, together, they will have to learn to better communicate their needs rather than taking refuge in their solitude. Their personal and couple journey will help them find the “we” and finally understand themselves better. Gino will also have to find a balance with his codependency. The love and sweetness of this couple will be very inspiring.

Kathy and Guillaume (29 years old / In a relationship for 4 years)

Kathy and Guillaume have everything to be happy… apparently. On the other hand, Guillaume’s anxiety and his need to succeed at all costs tarnish their relationship. They are caught in an unfortunate cycle of bickering and misunderstanding on both sides. Kathy feels responsible for the “good humor” aspect in the couple, but she will have to accept, not without guilt, that she is tired of pretending that everything is fine. For his part, Guillaume will approach tough subjects with disarming frankness and little by little he will drop his shell. Their issues fit perfectly into the line of useful tele.

Stéphanie and Keven (35 years old / In a relationship for 18 years)

Stéphanie and Keven want to save their relationship and their family. Stéphanie suffered her husband’s infidelity and she rationalizes the events a lot to avoid suffering. Quietly, she will begin a process of forgiveness and healing. As for Keven, he must face shame and regret. He will dare to open up without shame in order to become a better lover and even a better father. Is infidelity forgivable? We bet that their story will not leave anyone indifferent.

Madeleine and Michel (73 and 71 years old / In a relationship for 16 years)

Madeleine and Michel are caught in an obvious duality: a rational couple with an emotional one. Madeleine tends to get lost in big discussions, and Michel is sometimes irritated by this incessant flow of words. Their difference in education also seems to be an issue for Madeleine. Although very different, they are still great accomplices in everyday life and they share a sense of humor of their own which will entertain us. The great tenderness and sensuality that emanate from their couple can inspire several singles who no longer believe in love after a certain age.
