Didier Deschamps, Laurent Blanc… The stars of Variétés in Yvelines for “Yellow Pieces”

Gala football match on Wednesday April 24, 2024, at 5 p.m., at the Bernard-Giroux stadium in Plaisir (Yvelines). The Variétés club de France will face a mixed selection bringing together healthcare staff, municipal agents, police officers and players from the local football club, FO Plaisir.

This charity meeting will be fought for the benefit of the “Yellow Pieces” operation, in order to help hospitalized children and adolescents. The general public will unfortunately not be able to attend this exceptional match. Access will be by invitation only. A portion of the places were thus allocated to the sports associations of the host city (football, rugby, volleyball, etc.).

Brigitte Macron and the 1998 world champions

Brigitte MacronFirst Lady and President of the Hospital Foundation, and Didier Deschamps, godfather of the “Yellow Pieces” and coach of the French team, will be present.

Others 1998 world champions are announced. Laurent Blanc, Christian Karembeu and Robert Pirès should be there. Just like the former legend of the Blues, Alain Giresse, or Arsène Wenger, former manager of Arsenal.

Variétés often plays in Yvelines

Founded in 1971, the Variétés club de France, chaired by Karl Olive, deputy of the 12^e Yvelines constituency, plays regularly in the department. For his 50th birthday, in October 2021, Emmanuel Macron had put on the crampons in Poissy. The President of the Republic even converted a penalty for the occasion.

On March 27, 2024, the Variétés, with many of its stars, played a match for the “Yellow Pieces” in Orléans (Loiret). This meeting made it possible to collect €5,000 for a good cause.
