a new service aimed at independent bookstores

Zeercle, which buys directly from individuals while collaborating with bookstores across Europe, now entrusts momox with the exclusive distribution of the collected works.

After a deployment in Germany (with Hugendubel), Austria (with Morawa and Tyrolia) and the United Kingdom (with WHSmith), Zeercle is setting up in with Rereada service intended for independent bookstores.

It allows booksellers to offer their customers free repurchase of used books in exchange for vouchers, usable exclusively in store and entirely financed by Zeercle. Customers can have their books appraised directly in the bookstore or via an online pre-estimate on Reelire.com before dropping them off.

Reelire aims to equip 10% of the 3,000 French independent bookstores by summer 2025, with a stated objective: to demonstrate how the circular economy can both boost sales of new books and promote a sustainable and responsible model.

Zeercle draws on momox’s 20 years of experience in pan-European logistics, pricing and distribution. Books collected via Zeercle partners are processed in momox’s logistics centers in Leipzig (Germany) and Szczecin (Poland) before being resold on momox’s platforms and its partner marketplaces.

This collaboration offers a potential return to the British market for momox, abandoned after Brexit, but where Zeercle is already established. But also an enrichment of the offer with recent titles and a broader linguistic diversity, making momox platforms, in particular momox shop and its application, even more attractive.

Heiner Kroke, CEO of momox, says: “ This partnership represents an exceptional opportunity to accelerate our expansion in Europe and explore new horizons, particularly in France and the United Kingdom. The growth potential is immense, and we anticipate a 10-20% increase in our buyout activity across markets. »

Stefan Klostermann, CCO Books & Media at momox, adds: “ With Zeercle, we have the opportunity to strengthen and actively support the European book trade. While we were sometimes perceived as competitors of booksellers, we are now demonstrating that we can work hand in hand to develop the book market, creating real added value for consumers.s. »

For his part, Éric Gagnaire, CEO and co-founder of Zeercle, comments: “ We are very happy with this alliance with momox, which allows Zeercle to reach a major milestone in record time. Obstacles, particularly logistical, were removed thanks to this merger. We are already seeing the benefits of a much more fluid and efficient solution, after only a few weeks of integration. Zeercle can thus focus on its strengths: its agility and its ability to effectively deploy its used book buyback solution in bookstores. »
