“Eat to live”, documentary film on a initiative, screened at the Diagonal

The screening of the film on the Common Food Fund, an initiative bringing together 400 people in , is screened this Tuesday, January 21 and followed by a debate.

Do you know the Common Food Fund? In Montpellier, a group of associations launched a pioneering, life-size experiment of what social food security could be.

It brings together 400 people who contribute according to their means and who all receive the same amount to eat healthily.

Through four sensitive portraits, this documentary film offers a reflection on the right to food for all.

A real subject, when we know that in 2025, one in ten people will have difficulty feeding themselves every day in . This is three times more than ten years ago.

Emergency food aid, propelled by Coluche 40 years ago with Restos du coeur, has become part of the landscape. But she ends up being overwhelmed.
