We are only a few weeks away from the release of Captain America : Brave New World. While the film is expected on February 12, it could be that the post-credits scene has already leaked.
Captain America 4 : grosse hype
Frankly, the first images of this Captain America : Brave New World are quite reassuring. The film, directed by Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox), promises to be a muscular paranoid thriller in the universe Marvel. The feature film will notably confront Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) has several iconic enemies like Sidewinder (Giancarlo Esposito), Red Hulk (Harrison Ford) or The Leader (Tim Blake Nelson).
Brave New World will also connect with the second film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU): The Incredible Hulk. Indeed, Julius Onah’s feature film will bring back certain major figures from the Hulk universe, notably the returns of Tim Blake Nelson et Liv Tyler which were already present in The Incredible Hulk. Harrison Ford will take over the role of General Ross while Mark Ruffalo is also confirmed in the casting, returning as Hulk.
Captain America 4: we already know the post-credits scene
What is quite surprising about this Captain America 4is that Marvel Studios fails to keep certain elements of its film secret. The overall plot of the story has already leaked a few weeks ago. Now it’s the post-credits scene content which has just found its way on the web. It is rumored that at the end of the film, General Ross is arrested by Captain America. After changing into the Red Hulk and destroying everything in his path, the colossus is sent to Raft, the high-security super-prison of the Marvel Universe.
Over there, and this is the content of the post-credits scene, Ross crosses paths with the Leader. The latter then explains to him that they are not the only Hulk, and that the young Amadeus Cho also received a dose of gamma rays. The Leader’s objective would then be to create an entire army of Hulkalthough his deeper motivations are still obscure. As a reminder, Amadeus Cho is one of the most brilliant minds in the entire Marvel Universe. Created in 2005, he adsorbs a dose of gamma rays, and also transforms into the Hulk. But unlike Banner, he retains his mind in Hulk form.
A short post-credits sequence which would therefore be a way of teasing the establishment, potentially, of an adaptation of World War Hulk. In any case, that’s what we hope…
