Beyond Prognosis – Yannis Pelé
If the starting point of the film is not encouraging, and you risk finishing the film with moist eyes as was our case, Beyond Prognosis goes well beyond a cycling film and we can only know too much advise you. It is above all the story of a young adult who never stops fighting when his world collapses and who defies the medical forecasts. This young adult is Yannis Pelé, who in 2016 fell while mountain biking, broke his neck, damaged his spinal cord, and thus lost the use of his legs.
Before being a film about a reconstruction until returning on a bike, Beyond Prognosis highlights the determination of Yannis Pelé, the strength of his mind and the still mysterious connections which connect our mind and our body. We were able to discover this film in the cinema and Beyond Prognosis took us to the guts. Everything is enhanced by a production by Almo with images and music of a very high level. A must see!
While writing these lines, we said to ourselves that the person who would speak best about this film is certainly Yannis. This is why he recommends it: » I would like this documentary to be a beautiful message of hope, a film that makes you think and that brings a new perspective on how to understand certain things and live in the present moment. It is a film that can make people from all walks of life think, motivate them on a daily basis and bring a little hope to many situations. »

Deathgrip 2 – Brendan Fairclough
Change of atmosphere with Deathgrip 2. The first film directed by Brendan Fairclough, Clay Porter and Chris Seager was released in 2017 and brought together some of the best freeriders and downhill riders on the planet for a “segment” film, in the great tradition sliding and cycling films.
The success of the first film, in addition to its broadcast on the Netflix streaming platform which made it easy to access for tens of millions of people, is the care taken in the production, the choice of music and the fairly high level stratospheric guest riders.
For this second film, we find in the cast: Amaury Pierron, Thomas Genon, Jackson Goldstone, Olly Wilkins, Dave McMillan, Thomas Estaque, Hugo Frixtalon, Luca Shaw, Valentina Höll, Marine Cabirou, Kaos Seagrave and Finn Iles.
Where to find the film: on VOD on Amazon, Apple TV or Microsoft for €4.99 or €9.99.
