»which was presented in official competition at the Cannes Film Festival last May, is revealed in a first trailer before its release next October.


« The Apprentice » depicts the early years of the billionaire. Initially portrayed as a somewhat naive social climber, Donald Trump (Sebastian Stan) loses his principles as he discovers the ropes of power alongside his mentor, lawyer Roy Cohn (Jeremy Strong), who is closely associated with the New York mafia.

« Attack, attack, attack », « never admit anything »: during the film, Donald Trump will appropriate Roy Cohn’s maxims and take advantage of his extensive address book. He will end up turning his back on the lawyer, who is sick with AIDS.

Biopic sans concession, «

The Apprentice
