A 24-year-old man who was practicing off-piste skiing at the Allos resort was rescued this Sunday, January 26, by the gendarmes of the PGHM of Jausiers.

Victim of a bad fall, the skier was initially rescued by the resort's ski patrollers, but, given the seriousness of the injury, they requested the intervention of the PGHM.

The man, probably suffering from a fractured femur, was treated by PGHM rescuers and evacuated by helicopter to the emergency room of the Digne hospital center.
