The federation of the Socialist Party and the MEP Chloé Ridel share the same address in Nîmes on Boulevard Jean-Jaurès in Nîmes. The PS has its headquarters there and the parliamentarians have their headquarters there. The inauguration took place on Saturday January 25.

The socialists of Gard pool together. Saturday January 25, they inaugurated their new premises. They are located at 36 avenue Jean-Jaurès in Nîmes. And they will be shared with Chloé Ridel, the European socialist deputy, born in but who lived for a long time in the Gard between Nîmes and Lédenon, and who will hold her European office there.

It's back in town for the Gard section of the PS whose premises were once located on rue de la Madeleine. The party then left for Boulevard Maréchal-Juin. Then owner of his premises, he had to sell them and rent them in a busy city. “Beyond the financial question, which is not neutral since we share the rental with Chloé Ridel, it is also an opportunity to come back to town and be visible. And then being on an avenue that bears the name of Jean Jaurès is not neutral when you are a socialist”says Pierre Jaumain, the first federal government in Gard.

Chloé Ridel, for her part, wanted to establish her position as a European deputy in Gard, a department that is dear to her. “Not all European parliamentarians necessarily have permanent work as they divide their time between and Brussels. I also have my duties as spokesperson for the PS, but it was important for me to have an office in Nîmes,” she said. In a very busy schedule, the parliamentarian assures that she will be present every other Friday and will count on Uzétien Benjamin Gault, one of her parliamentary attachés, to liven up the place.
