On Sunday, the sky will be very cloudy to overcast with occasional moderate rain. Early in the morning, there will still be a risk of freezing rain in the eastern cantons and the possibility of (melting) snow in the north-east of the country. It will be noticeably milder with maximums of 6 or 7 degrees in the upper Ardennes to 12 degrees in the west of the country. The wind will remain moderate to fairly strong, and quite strong to sometimes strong at sea.
On Monday, a new area of rain will reach the country under abundant cloudiness. It will be very mild with maximums reaching 11 or 12 degrees in the center. The next day, the cloudiness will be more variable with a few showers which, in the Ardennes, will take on a wintry character. The wind will still be very present. The maximums will no longer exceed 4 degrees in the central part of the country.
Wednesday, the day will begin with sunshine veiled by increasingly numerous high-altitude clouds. Cloudiness will continue to increase during the day before the arrival of light snowfall late in the afternoon or evening. These may strengthen the following night, but this scenario remains to be confirmed.
On Thursday, a little snow may still fall before the return of sunny spells which will alternate with a few (winter) showers. Maximums will reach 3 degrees in the center while the following night, the risk of frost will become widespread.
Finally, broad clearings are expected at the end of the week with maximums remaining close to 3 degrees in the center on Friday and 1 degree on Saturday.
