Homer's Odyssey comes to Hollywood cinema

The Odyssey, attributed to the Greek Homer, is one of the most influential literary works in history. This epic telling of the adventures of Odysseus, king of Ithaca, as he attempts to return home after the Trojan War.

Ulysses' journey is marked by extraordinary challenges: encounters with mythological beings such as Polyphemus, the Cyclops; the sirens whose enchanting song attracts sailors; and the sorceress Circe, who turns her men into animals. At the same time, his wife Penelope faces her own challenges in Ithaca, resisting a multitude of suitors seeking to take Ulysses' place. More than an adventure narrative, The Odyssey explores universal themes such as perseverance, ingenuity, and the struggle to maintain family ties in the face of adversity. The work is a symbol of human resistance.
