Christopher Nolan has revealed the subject of his next film, the 13th feature film, with a host of stars in the cast including Tom Holland and Zendaya.
End of suspense and Christmas present at the same time, director Christopher Nolan unveils his new film. And the project promises to be completely crazy! He rubs shoulders with Homer with an adaptation of The Odyssey, the filming of which will take place in the four corners of the planet in 2025.
The announcement was made officially by its distributor Universal Pictures: “Christopher Nolan's next film, The Odyssey, will be an epic and legendary action film, shot across the world, using IMAX technology. The film will tell the saga of Homer in cinemas around the world on July 17, 2026.“
A new masterpiece after Oppenheimer?
Internationally renowned filmmaker, Christopher Nolan continues to collect successes. And the latest, Oppenheimer released in 2023, had left its mark. The biopic won the Oscars for best film, best director and best actor. Christopher also won an Honorary César at the start of the year.
The director of The Dark Knight, Inception and the magnificent Interstellar is leaving for a 13th shoot with an XXL cast: he will be counting on Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Anne Hathaway and Charlize Theron.
