Cinema release date revealed for Attack on Titan: The Last Attack, December 23, 2024

Earlier this month, Crunchyroll revealed the release of the film Attack on Titan: The Last Attack in our cinemas. Recently, the juggernaut of Japanese animation distribution revealed the international broadcast dates, including that of !

Very precisely, the film will be screened in our theaters on Saturday March 1 and Sunday March 2, in the original version with French subtitles. For the moment, the partner cinemas for the broadcast have not yet been revealed. Note that this announcement is accompanied by a French poster for the film and a short teaser (see below).

As a reminder, the film Attack on Titan: The Last Attack (or Shingeki no Kyojin: The Last Attack) is a compilation of the final two long episodes of the animated series in a film lasting almost 2h25. Released in Japan on November 8, it will allow fans to relive the final highlights of the animated adaptation in the best possible conditions and under a more cinematic approach. In the meantime, it's not too late to update yourself on the excellent animated adaptation of Hajime Isayama's exceptional work, the episodes being available on VOD on Crunchyroll and on physical media at All the Anime.

Synopsis – Attack on Titan: The Last Attack:

Attack on Titan: THE LAST STRIKE brings together the final two episodes of the eponymous anime into one cinematic experience, bringing an epic finale to the big screen in one colossal omnibus film.

For decades, humanity has existed docilely behind gigantic walls erected to protect it from the threat of monstrous creatures called “titans”. But this century of peace is shattered when a sudden attack devastates an entire city, depriving young Eren Jäger of his mother, a boy who swears revenge on the titans.

Several years after enlisting in the Exploration Battalion, Eren faces a formidable opponent and gains a unique power that reveals to him an unsuspected truth about the world he thought he knew.

Having ventured beyond the walls, and now separated from his comrades, Eren sees in this truth the reasons to orchestrate the Great Earthquake, a terrible project intended to eradicate all life on the planet. With the fate of the entire world now hanging in the balance, a ragtag team of Eren's former friends and enemies fight to stop his evil enterprise.
