2025 will start in a big way since it will be released in theaters on January 1 HERETIC (HEREJE)the new work by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, responsible for the magnificent “The House of Terror” and scriptwriters of the first installment of “A Quiet Place”, one of the great successes of recent horror cinema.

The film is accompanied by magnificent reviews with praise for Hugh Grant's disturbing work, which has earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the Golden Globes and it would not be ruled out that he would get another at the Oscars.

Today we bring you an exclusive video of the film that goes deeper into the role of Mr. Reed (Grant) that the cast of the film tells us about.

In HERETIC (HEREJE) Two young missionaries are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by the diabolical Mr. Reed (Hugh Grant). The three will find themselves involved in a brutal game of cat and mouse during a long stormy night.

Hugh Grant plays a role completely removed from his usual roles, presenting a spectacular tour de force. «What makes Hugh Grant so perfect for the role of Mr. Reed is that, in HERETIC, we see him in a register that is unlike anything he has done before, but at the same time, the actor uses all the techniques and tricks that we love and are familiar with and give them a macabre twist,” says producer Stacey Sher.

“With HERETIC, we wanted to provoke our audience,” say screenwriters and directors Beck and Woods. «We thought it would be special to write a shocking script where fear and terror emerge from the dialogue, through the words and concepts that are exposed. [···] If we have done our job well, the audience will bring their own ideas about religion to the discourse of the film: What do we believe and what do we not believe?
