A.. what? A notable fan? How so ?

Yes you read correctly. With the SWU team, we intend to regularly highlight a fan whose activities stand out from the crowd. This is in order to be able to discover new ways of experiencing our favorite license and even, perhaps, to embark on a new project. Enough chatter, let's continue with the fan of the day…

jaig_eye_hunter on Instagram or his multi-link page, Hunter Smoke, his real name, is a cosplayer and maker of props American. His creations mainly revolve around characters in armor, clones and Mandalorians in the lead, a Bossk costume (occasional lizard man to be precise) but also… building droids! Yes, casually it's starting to hurt quite a bit and you'll see right away that the quality is there. First, the armor.

We're far from the selfie in front of the mirror… He often credits someone else for taking the photo, and we see the result.

Then his Bossk costume, which looks really good. Without knowing it, I may have encountered or seen him at the Celebration…

He also knows how to choose his decorations! In the post in the middle image, he talks about the fan-made cantina where he took this photo.

And finally, another important part of his posts, the construction of droids. The yellow and dark blue is inspired by a model from Galaxy's Edge.

Although he explains that he started making a BB, I haven't found any trace of it elsewhere. Well, the other two are already nice…

You know the song, but what's more than window shopping? Well, have you taken a look at the multi-link page shown before? There you will find a Google Docs providing advice and useful links for getting started in building doids (and when you come across them at conventions, I assure you that the effect wow is there) and links to resin stores and especially 3D files… in the latter, you can already buy Silvo's helmet! While he doesn't appear to run these stores himself, his page offers a discount code. Some of his posts talk about armor made for clients, but I haven't found a page detailing that part of his business.
