Netflix has once again surprised its audience with the premiere of “Carry-On”, a Christmas action thriller that has captivated audiences since its launch.

What is Hand Luggage about?

Starring Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman, this film immerses us in a plot full of tension and unexpected twists, set in the world of airport security.

In Carry-on Luggage, we follow Ethan Kopek (Egerton), a TSA (Transportation Security Administration) agent who finds himself involved in a dangerous situation.

During Christmas Eve, he is blackmailed by a mysterious traveler (Bateman) into letting a suspicious package pass on a flight.

 

From this moment on, Kopek finds himself trapped in a race against time to prevent a catastrophe and save hundreds of lives.

What did the critics say?

From director Jaume Collet-Serra, the film has a luxury cast led by Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman, along with Sofia Carson, Danielle Deadwyler, Theo Rossi, Logan Marshall-Green, Dean Norris, Sinqua Walls, Gil Perez-Abraham and Tonatiuh, who complete the cast.

Specialized critics have received "Hand Luggage" with divided opinions. Some praise the tension and pace of the film, while others consider the plot to be predictable at times.
