TriPictures presents the trailer for ‘bad influence‘, a film inspired by the famous and addictive Wattpad novel of the same name that brought us one of the most intense and viral romances in recent years. With more than 44 million readings and fans from around the world, the story comes to the big screen to bring to life those characters and scenes that so many readers couldn’t get out of their heads.
Performed by Alberto Olmo in the role of Eros and the newcomer Eléa Rochera as Reese, the film promises to captivate the audience with a story full of romance, tension and a love… impossible?
Reese Russell (Rochera) enjoys the perfect life, but everything becomes complicated when a series of strange events begin to happen around her and she begins to receive anonymous threats. Her father, Bruce, must find a job for the young criminal Eros Douglas (Olmo), and decides to entrust him with protecting his daughter. Thus, the feared Eros becomes the new bodyguard of the innocent Reese. They both belong to very different worlds, but when they are together they feel a special chemistry.

Enrique Arce, Mirela Balic, Farid Bechara, Sara Ariño, Fer Fraga, Mar Isern, Sélam Ortega, Clara Chaín and Enrique Arce complete the cast of this production by Nadie es Perfecto, N&L Films and Wattpad WEBTOON Studios, which has the support of Netflix , the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA) and the Generalitat Valenciana.
As writer-director Chloé Wallace describes, “It is an opportunity and a pride to be able to tell these teen stories with a feminine perspective, avoiding everything toxic that we have consumed since we were teenagers and being faithful to that stage of life full of pure emotion”.
‘bad influence‘ will arrive in Spanish cinemas on January 24, 2025 from TriPictures, the Spanish distributor of films such as ‘The Raven’, ‘Megalopolis’, ‘Disassembling Lucía’ or that ‘Better Man’ to be released next January 1st that should bring so much joy to the public.
