“There’s a lot riding on Superman. I mean, we’re not going to keep making Movies if it flops,” said Gunn, who also admitted that the effort put into the film has led him to feel “miserable” at times. However, the filmmaker said he was satisfied with the final result, regardless of what the public thinks.
