Captain America 4titled Brave New Worldstarring Anthony Mackie, reveals a little more about Red Hulk in its new trailer.
This weekend is all first edition of D23 Brasil: A Disney Experience. This unique Disney convention is held in São Paulo. The opportunity for a shower of announcements and images for the next Disney, Pixar and Avatar productions. Among the trailers shared this weekend, Marvel revealed a little more about its next Captain America: Brave New Worldand in particular its Red Hulk played by Harrison Ford.
Captain America 4: The Incredible Red Hulk?
This new trailer for Brave New World plays a card similar to that of Winter Soldierreleased in 2014, that of the paranoid thriller. Political manipulations and aesthetics reminiscent of the great American thrillers of the 70s (Three Days of the Condor, The President’s Men), this new opus seems to be anchored in a more palpable universe with an intrigue on a more human/terrestrial scale than the average Marvel.
But as mentioned, this aesthetic has already been reworked by the MCU. Captain America 4 will it be a simple repetition of Winter Soldier ? Although it is still too early to say, we can note that the real distinction that seems to work Brave New World (at least its promotion) is the presence of the new President of the United States Thaddeus Ross, aka Red Hulk.
Indeed, this new trailer for Captain America 4 promises a big fight between this brave Anthony Mackie and the all red and muscular version of Harrison Ford. Failing to aesthetically renew the MCU, Brave New World must at least complete his contract in terms of action and big show. These few images promise flight sequences that the new Captain’s gadgets could make fun.
While waiting to see and know more, let’s remember that Captain America 4 is directed by Julius Onah, the director of The Cloverfield Paradox et Luce. The film’s screenplay was written by Dalan Musson (Iron Sky 2, Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Malcolm Spellman (Empire, Falcon and the Winter Soldier) et Matthew Orton (Devil’s Peak, Moon Knight). Captain America: Brave New World will be released in our French cinemas on February 12.
