The story between Robert Pattinson and Twilight is not easy, and the British actor spoke about his experience with the first film, during which he was on the verge of being fired.
If no fan of Twilight imagine no other actor than Robert Pattinson in the role of Edward Cullen, yet this is what could have happened at the start of filming of the first film. While his audition for the role didn’t go the best of ways, he also had some issues on set.
In an interview with GQ, he confided: “ I was 21 and wanted to make it as artistic as possible. We had this strange tension. The studio was a little afraid of making things a little too emo and I thought that was the only way to play it. I spent so much time furious. »

And to add: “ And it definitely has something to do with that young age of 21. I can’t believe the way I acted half the time when I think about it. The scene from the first Twilight where Edward introduces Bella to his family for the first time, I remember it was a very special day, because my agent and my manager made a surprise visit to me and I thought that everything was fine.“
But obviously, that was not the case at all, and Robert Pattinson was on the verge of walking out the door: “ And then at lunch, they said to me, ‘So whatever you’re doing right now on set, during the scenes, just do the opposite. Otherwise you will be fired before the end of the day. And that was the only thing that made me smile a little.“
If things then worked out, Robert Pattinson doesn’t really wear Twilight in his heart, and has expressed his disenchantment with films on several occasions. Good atmosphere…
